Dental Implants

Dental implants are another great option to replace missing teeth.  The benefit of this procedure is that we don’t have to reshape any of your existing teeth.  If you are a candidate for an implant, an oral surgeon will place a titanium post below the gum.  This is done under IV sedation and you are extremely comfortable during this appointment.  After the bone and gums heal for a period of approximately four months, you return to our office for the placement of a post and the eventual crown.  Other advantages of this procedure include the resistance of the metal to decay, the superior longevity and the minimal chance for breakdown.  If a front tooth requires an implant, we provide temporary replacement of the tooth while you heal.
